THE APACHE PETROGLYPHS PRESERVATION PROJECT
Historical petroglyphs discovered on Chiricahua Apache tribal lands are in great need of restoration and preservation.
Petroglyphs are rock carvings, paintings and illustrations that are powerful cultural symbols that reflect the complexities of Indigenous societies, history and religion. They give a glimpse of the past and connect to the present, thereby providing an important link to sacred landscapes where traditional ceremonies and celebrations of life once took place.
The context of each distinct petroglyph is crucial and extremely important, as it is integrally connected and has a significant meaning interwoven into our history, culture and traditions.
They hold many keys to our past civilizations.
Our vision and goal is to restore and preserve these rare, unique and exclusive discoveries.
We ask you to join us in helping reach our goal of raising funds for the construction and development of the Apache Petroglyphs Trails And Canyon Park.
Your partnership and sponsorship will help make our dream become a reality.
We seek your help by asking you to make a contribution to this unique and worthy cause.
